Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)

26. Playgirl

Playgirl Magazine was a product of "women's lib". This cartoon was published in July 1974 as a full page. It wasn't as graphic as some cartoons Don sold to Playgirl, but it certainly included a liberated woman. Milk was still being delivered in the early 70s. That's gone, but liberated women are here to stay . . . and so are "grouchy as a bear" husbands.
