Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)

94. Sky Climbers

Sky Climbers was a reading textbook published by Scott, Foresman and Company in 1981. It is a "Level 10" text with stories and articles by a wide variety of authors. The "skills unit" with which this cartoon of Don's appeared was--naturally--about lighthouses. His gag was originally printed by National Enquirer (Aug. 31, 1976). Don received $125.00 for the reprint. Based on the U.S. inflation calculator that $300.00 today.
