Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)

132. Star Magazine

Don sold a fair number of cartoons to Star Magazine, a supermarket tabloid, in the 1980s. We don't have a publication date for this one, but it was purchased in April 1983. It's an example of a situation (i.e., eskimo and igloo or ice) that the cartoonist can use in various ways. Another one Don recalls is two eskimo women in really bulky parkas. One says: My girdle is killing me. In yet another gag, an eskimo is escaping with loot and a Mounty hollers at him: Freeze! And another: an eskimo is taking pictures of his family, he says: Say 'freeze.'
