Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)

163. A Slice of Wry

This cartoon and picture of Don appeared in the July 1994 edition of A Slice of Wry, The Official Newsletter of the Southern California Cartoonists Society. This regional society is made up of any interested cartoonists who live in the San Diego area and is a chapter of the National Cartoonists Society. See http://www.reuben.org/.
Don doesn't live in California--he's a member of a the Long Island chapter of NCS--but he did visit San Diego and regaled them at a meeting with life and cartoon stories.
The caption for the cartoon shown here is:
"Hello, Joe's garage?"
Hummm, wonder if golf courses have towing service?
