Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)

200. Caper

The April 1969 issue of Caper magazine, which included this cartoon, announced on its cover what the reader might expect inside. These words were surrounded by four "girlie" photos:

A Cornucopia of Curvaceous Cuties ■ Clever Cartoons ■ Combustible Commentary ■ Cogitative Contributors ■ for the Capacious Connoisseur

Okay, so Curvaceous Cuties got top billing, but Clever Cartoons is next. We say this magazine that had its priorities pretty straight.

Congrats on #200. I know, I know, it's not even 1% of the Orehek cartoon output.

Amazing to think that the Don Orehek Blog is still 3 months shy of its 1 year anniversary, and you've effortlessly clocked in 200 great cartoons! Thank you for sharing them.

"200? Now will you play with me?" Yes, Cleo!
