Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)

206. Stag Treasury

The volume in which this cartoon appeared called itself "The First Anthology of American Jokelore." It was published in 1967 by SRI Publishing Co., Fort Worth, Texas, and included, by its own declaration, "cartoons, stories, jokes, gaglines, witticisms, limericks, short poems and catch phrases." The slant was not "general" and it isn't a book you'd leave lying around for your kids to look at! It was, however, a good depository for a large number of previously unsold "girlie" cartoons which had made the rounds.
