Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)
25. Weight Watchers
Some things are universal - like wives trying to keep the house clean after working all day to spruce things up, but this cartoon puts a new twist on the cliche. So, guys, be sure to wipe your feet . . . err, knees when you come home, especially if it has been raining . . . or snowing!
This cartoon was published by Weight Watchers magazine in their January 1969 issue. Obviously not all their cartoons had to be about losing weight.
Note the three sled dogs: an Orehek background touch.
