Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)

28. Christian Science Monitor

Christian Science Monitor published this cartoon February 2, 1971. Obviously the editors didn't just buy cartoons suggested by the newspaper's title, nor do they today for the current on-line edition.

Wonder what the extra pair of shoes sold in the cartoon for 50 cents would cost now based on inflation since 1971? The handy-dandy inflation calculator says $2.64. Plus tax?
