Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)
Don considers this cartoon to be one of his all-time best! Since we've already included Playboy (see # 8) in our tally of publications, there's no number on today's entry.
Wife Suzy thought up the idea. Did it come to mind because she's originally from Iowa and did spend a little time "down on the farm" or was it because we had just paid our home owner's insurance?
