It was reprinted in the Journal of the American Association of Psychiatric Administrators newsletter, Spring 1988, so that's the publication that gets credit here. As to the subject of the cartoon, have you ever met someone on a trip that ended up on your doorstep or maybe in your guest bedroom for longer than you'd like? Imagine having a bear couple pay a visit! Only in cartoons, or so we hope, but they do look like a fun couple.
