American Medical News is a publication of the American Medical Association. It purchased this cartoon from Don (redrawn here) in April 1983. At that time there was frequent discussion about patients getting a second opinion--fodder for cartoonists. Now who do we think Martha would ask for a second a opinion about whether her doctor husband loves her? A fortune teller? Certainly not his cute little nurse, if he has one.
