Multi-panel gag cartoons are not common. Let's say it is because the magazine gag cartoonist is so good at telling the whole story in one panel. Sometimes it does take two, however, and the second panel usually turns out to be something different than the first panel would lead you to believe. For sure Tarzan got a surprise here!This cartoon was purchased by National Enquirer. (We don't have a date.)
