The cartoon above is the first one Don sold to
Saturday Evening Post. The year was 1961. We don't have the issue date.
Don Sold this one to the
Saturday Evening Post the same year as his "Trees" cartoon. It was published in the October 21, 1961 issue. Hard to believe that's coming up on 50 years!
