A publication titled Columbia bought this cartoon in July 1969. Although there currently is more than one magazine with the same title, none seem to be this Columbia, about which we no longer have any information. Anyway, we're glad that its editors appreciated cartoons when they did. They did not, however, provide Don with a clip so he redrew the gag here.
