Don taught cartooning to kids and once to adults in several locations near home. Two qualify as "publications" as Don drew the covers for the brochures. The one shown here is from the first and we think original program which offered a variety of classes on Saturday morning to elementary school children. Don's one-hour cartooning class was for grades 4-6. The Creative Arts Workshop of Port Washington was a "cooperative, non-profit organization administered by interested parents on a purely voluntary basis." It ran for several years and ceased to be when no "interested parents" came forward to volunteer.
Be sure to notice the face under "cartooning."
