Don has sold a LOT of cartoons in his career. Each numbered cartoon or illustration on the left side of this Blog is from a DIFFERENT magazine, newspaper, etc. Let's see if we can find out the total number of publications (places) where Don's work has appeared . . . . . (An unnumbered posting is a duplicate publication.)

125. Saga

Saga Magazine is a dim memory, so there is little to report about it except that it seems to have filled a "niche market". On the reverse side of this cartoon is printed part of an article about William Kunstler, the self-described "radical lawyer" (see wikipedia). One sentence in the article says: "It may well be that Kunstler is living vicariously through his youthful followers."

We do not have the publication date for Don's cartoon, however, we do know he sold it to Saga in November 1970. Notice the bit of green on the lady's glove and on the bow on her hat, an unusual touch added by the editors. The yellow is just the aging of the paper.
